Painting Exhibition by Ralitsa Stoitsova

Gallery 33 is pleased to present the current exhibition revealing the expressive creative realm of Ralitsa Stoitsova.

Born in Sofia, Ralitsa developed a strong passion for art from an early age. This deep interest led her to the National Academy of Arts, where she graduated in Poster Art under Professor Ivan Gazdov. In 1992, she also received a diploma in Fine Arts. Stoitsova is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists and has held numerous solo and group exhibitions across the country. Her works are part of many private collections both in Bulgaria and abroad.

Ralitsa Stoitsova’s paintings carry the spirit of jazz. In her latest exhibition, the artist continues to evolve her unique visual language—abstract, free, and deeply intuitive.

Colors in Stoitsova’s work don’t simply exist—they resonate. Every stroke, every tension between shapes evokes a jazz phrase—unpredictable, expressive, sometimes sharp, at other times lyrical, but always genuine.

Ralitsa doesn’t seek precise form; she lets the gesture lead. Her creative process is movement, a dialogue between her inner world and the canvas. Her paintings do not depict—they provoke: emotions, thoughts, sensations.

In this exhibition, the viewer is not merely an observer but a participant in a visual improvisation.

Everyone will "hear" something different—discovering their own rhythm, their own melody.

This exhibition invites us on a journey through abstraction—not as an escape from reality, but as a deep immersion into its unseen layers, which are not meant to be explained, but felt.
