Gallery 33 Celebrates Its First Anniversary on March 3rd!
To mark the occasion, we are pleased to host a special event showcasing the work of Denica Kurtajov — a talented artist who creates unique handcrafted jewelry from genuine leather.
A brand new display will enrich the space at Gallery 33 and become part of our permanent exhibition. All admirers of designer jewelry are warmly invited to experience these exquisite, one-of-a-kind pieces.
About the Artist:
Denica Kurtajov’s artistic journey began in the painting studio of Yanko and Irena Yankov in her hometown. She continued her education at the National Academy of Art in Sofia, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Book and Print Graphics in 2013, followed by a Master’s degree in Book Art under Professor Stefan Gruev in 2015. That same year, she was invited to become the Art Director of Art Center Bankya, where she curated numerous exhibitions and creative workshops.
Since 2020, Denica has been developing her brand Denica Kurtajoff Atelier, dedicated to leather jewelry. She finds genuine leather to be a light and comfortable material — like a second skin — which allows her to bring to life bold, sculptural designs. In her future plans, Denica envisions returning to painting and merging it with her jewelry work.
